Activator / Facilitator Registration and Training
As the development of the contact tool “Azimuth” is approaching its final phase by reaching the Beta Test, we kindly remind you of how important it is to appoint and register Activators and Facilitators no later than 10 September 2021. Please check here the description of these two roles.
Every Member Organisation (MO) which wants to allow its members to use Azimuth requires an Activator and Facilitator to ensure the safety of the platform. These roles further have an enormous impact on Azimuth growth by increasing the number of opportunities that we can harbor for its users: from local groups preparing their next adventure in Europe to MOs promoting their National Jamboree – your participation will be one of Azimuth’s key ingredients. You can find here some more details about the training period.
Additionally, we are offering a training session for all Facilitators and Activators which will be repeated three times, on:
- 21 September 2021 – 10h00 to 11h00 CEST
- 22 September 2021 – 20h00 to 21h00 CEST
- 23 September 2021 – 16h00 to 17h00 CEST
Please complete this doodle to indicate your availabilities, so we can plan accordingly. Login details will be sent out in due time to the appointed activators and facilitators. We strongly recommend each MO to participate in one of the sessions, as it will cover everything you need to know about the basic responsibilities and tasks of your role, before the beta-phase.
Beta Test Phase
The MO activators and facilitators are the main target group of the beta-phase. However, for them to properly be able to test the contact tool, we require members to actually use it by registering, inputting data and browsing the listed offers. We do not directly advertise for members but see it as the responsibility of each MO to recruit their members to use Azimuth. In order to support your work of recruiting your MO members to participate in the Beta Phase, we produced a flyer for you to reach your local groups. It comes in English and is ready to be sent out, but if you prefer to change the language, wording or add contact details, you can easily adapt the attached PPTX version.
As a preparation for the activators and facilitators taking part in the training session, please already think about your expectations for the beta-phase: how many of your members do you want to engage in October? Which parts of the Azimuth are especially interesting to you and need exhaustive testing? And which open questions do you still have in regards to how it can support your organisations work?
