Record of Decisions, August 2021 (WOSM Europe)

As we shift gears from a successful 14th World Scout Scout Forum to the 42th World Scout Conference, we take this opportunity to share with you some updates from the European Scout Committee.

Declaration of the 14th World Scout Youth Forum : The Declaration fully represents the ideas and opinions of the participants of the 14th World Scout Youth Forum, and puts forward a bold agenda and focus for Scouting in the next triennium, including working towards climate neutrality, championing the right to non-formal education, and ensuring that Scouting is a safe and inclusive Movement open to all. We highly encourage all NSOs to have a read of what Youth Delegates have to say. https://scoutconference.org/outcomes

42nd World Scout Conference: The Conference programme showcases the work achieved and focuses on making key decisions about the future of Scouting. Throughout the event, delegations will have the opportunity to share best practices with others, learn about collaboration opportunities with partners, and be inspired by impact stories of Scouts from around the world. Explore the detailed provisional agenda to see all the sessions on offer: https://scoutconference.org/agenda/ and do not miss out on our Regional Exhibition, we look forward to seeing you there! We also take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all Volunteers supporting the event in all different capacities.

We were happy to connect with many of you over this Tuesday 24 August for the European Regional meeting in advance of the 42nd World Scout Conference. The Regional meeting brought together over 170 delegates and observers from the European delegations to the Conference. Updates of the implementation of the Regional Scout Plan, the Growth Potential Project and a presentation of the actions and initiatives planned in view of the upcoming European Scout Conference in Rotterdam were shared with the audience.
Access the presentation here: https://rsp.scouthub.org/regional-meeting-presentation/ and continue to provide your inputs into the different Padlets and votes on Menti under this link.
