Roverway brings together European Rangers and Rovers aged 16-22 and gives them opportunities to experience challenge and adventure, learn about other cultures and celebrate diversity, and to understand, through organising local community projects, the contribution they can make to building a better world.
Participants are divided into international teams to follow ‘paths’ exploring the host country, then join together for a massive camp.
To date, there have been six Roverway events in Portugal, Italy, Iceland, Finland, France and the Netherlands.
Roverway is organised by WAGGGS and WOSM along with the host country.
In July 2018, 4,650 Rovers and Rangers and volunteers from more than twenty countries travelled to the Netherlands to exchange knowledge, ideas and experiences.
