Academy 2021 Review

After about 6 months of intense planning and several e-meetings with the Space engineering team and other resource astronauts the main vessel “The Academy 2021” was launched on 27th October 2021. The primary goal of the planning team was to facilitate the astronauts to “Explore beyond the unknown” and take home a valuable set of experiences to share with their Earth peers.

Launched on a distinctive and interactive platform, the event which lasted throughout 10 days managed to successfully break through the monotony which is often associated with virtual events these days.

Prior to entering the space ship, the astronauts were strategically assigned into small space crews, also known as peer groups. Together with their crew members each group created a legacy to take back and share.

Now, to take a look at the figures, the 2021 Academy consisted of more than 100 astronauts (participants), 36 facilitators and 10 chief engineers from across 33 countries. In addition, more than 50 sessions were delivered either as live or recorded sessions.

To wrap it up, The Academy 2021 was a very successful and more importantly unique event. We, the space crew hope that all our astronauts too felt the same way.

Until next time keep on exploring beyond the unknown!
