We reached the third month of the global pandemic and with this the third month of Scouting under very special circumstances. We continue to be amazed and inspired by the national and local initiatives of Scouts in Europe and across our global Movement. Adapted and newly developed youth programme activities keep young people and adult volunteers engaged and give them an anchor point in these very difficult times. From day one of this public health crisis, we saw Scouts taking action to support their local communities and people in need. Your leadership makes us all proud to be Scouts!
We would like to take the opportunities to say thank you to everyone in the movement that went above and beyond themselves to keep the Scouting spirit alive.
The work of the European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) has not stopped during the last months ; on the second weekend of June 2020, the European Scout Committee met for its third business meeting, this time fully conducted online. We are pleased to provide you with a short update.
Please refer to the Record of Decisions of the European Scout Committee’s third business meeting for full details.
