We are also pleased to share that this year’s training will be hosted by our Member Organisation, Ring deutscher Pfadfinder*innenverbände (rdp), and will take place in Cologne, Germany. We are grateful to rdp for partnering with us to welcome volunteers from across the region and support this important learning opportunity.Â

As part of WAGGGS’ commitment to strengthening the sustainability, quality and regional ownership of WAGGGS Programmes, we are launching the WAGGGS Programmes Champions Training and warmly encourage motivated volunteers from our Member Organisations to apply. Â
What can you expect? Â
This training is a key milestone and the starting point to becoming:Â Â
- a WAGGGS Programme Champion in the Europe Region, and Â
- a WAGGGS International FacilitatorÂ
Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive:Â Â
- Your WAGGGS Programmes Champions PinÂ
Participants who successfully complete the training and confirm their commitment to continue the International Facilitator learning journey by completing and submitting a reflective self-assessment will also receive their:Â
- WAGGGS Facilitation Scarf and progress to the International Facilitator Trainee pathway

Please Note: This opportunity is open to members of the WAGGGS Volunteer Pool and Volunteer Network within the Europe Region. If you are not yet a member of the WAGGGS Volunteer Pool or Volunteer Network, you are still welcome to apply. However, you will also need to submit a WAGGGS Volunteer Application Form to the Volunteer Engagement Team. Please note that your application for the WAGGGS Programme Champions Training will only be reviewed once your Volunteer Application Form has been received and processed.
