Ignite the spark!
What is The Academy?
The Academy is a unique Scout and Guide event that brings together young leaders from across Europe for high-quality training and networking, focusing on the core priorities of the WOSM and WAGGGS European Regions.
The 2025 edition will blend traditional training with dynamic non-formal learning opportunities. Delivered by 26 expert facilitators, it will welcome nearly 200 Scouts and Guides eager to learn, connect, and act.
The Academy 2025 is where strategy meets action. It’s a space to develop the skills to design inclusive youth programmes, inspire peers as advocates, climate activists and peacebuilders, and strengthen active citizenship that responds to the evolving needs of communities.
Symbolic Framework
What does it mean to lead with purpose in a world that needs your light?
The challenges we face today call not only for change, but for changemakers. Scouting and Guiding have always been about empowering leaders of today and tomorrow – and this is our moment to ignite their passion.
The Academy 2025 celebrates youth leadership, stronger connections, and shared experiences. It’s about supporting leaders at national and regional level to build purpose-driven organisations and create lasting impact. From ember to blaze – let’s ignite the spark together at the Academy!
